NEW HOISTING REGULATIONS IN MASSACHUSETTS!
Massachusetts has updated their Regulations for Hoisting Requirements.
The regulations incorporate new definitions, and updated regulations and standards for the operation of Hoisting Machinery. It also creates two new licensing restrictions; 1D – General Industrial Warehouse Fork Lift equipment and 2D – Compact Hoisting Machinery.
In addition, The new regulation creates continuing education requirements for all fully licensed Hoisting operators during the 2 year license cycle.

On November 6, 2013, Safety Equipped, Inc. conducted forklift training for employees at Westfield State University located in Westfield, Massachusetts.
On November 7, 2013, employees of M.J. Ambrose Enterprises, Inc. attended a safety training meeting covering the new updated Hazcom — Globally Harmonized System (GHS).
On November 5, 2013, Safety Equipped, Inc. conducted safety training on a rough terrain forklift for employees of East Guilford Construction, Inc. located in Madison, CT. After the classroom portion of the training was complete employees and the trainer, Bill Kershaw, traveled to their jobsite to conduct the Handson portion of their training.
